    Change your Primary DNS Server

    Hi all.

    At the moment on my network I have 2 DNS servers , I would like to the new server that currently is a Domain Controller as the new primary DNS Sever and this new sever is not as DNS server at the moment. Can someone please advise?

    Set the DNS order on the DHCP server scope.

    The DHCP setting works fine for machines on DHCP, unless you have a lot machines on static IPs like we do (this is due to an application requirement). If you do, PM me and I'll provide you with a VB Script to change the DNS entries on a list of machines from a text file.
