    Excel (2000)

Hello. Does anyone know if there is a way to change the Sheet tabs in a workbook to be different colors. Sheet 1 (Blue) Sheet 2 (Red), etc.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Not in Excel 2000 but in Excel XP, 2002. Its ready only in that version.

But if you would tell us what you are trying to do, we may come up with a neat solution?!

    Re: Excel (2000)

It was a user request. They do a lot of work in Excel and wanted to be able to look at the sheets in different colors instead of renaming. It is not important enough to really work hard at it, we will be upgrading to XP at the beginning of the year. I just thought I would ask - - I really don't have any experience using VBA in Excel - I generally stick to Word - but thanks for your help anyway. I am going to take a look at the XP version and see if I can figure it out.
