Do you have Google toolbar installed? Recent versions of that have been known to interfere with right clicking on web pages. If so, try disabling Google toolbar to see if it's fixed.

Why do you have to right click on the link? When I have a link on a web page I left click and immediately go to the page. I think what you are doing is right click, then copy, then paste to address bar. This is really a step you shoud not have to do. Does this occur with all web pages or just certain web pages.

I am unsure why the right click context menu is not working. There is another similar thread. Some others suggest trying IE 9 without add ons. Disable all add ons to see if problem corrects. You might also try to delete all TIF. Perhaps an old copy of a web page is causing the problem.
