Question "Information" bug in Word 2003 thesaurus

    Ok, try this:

    Open a new Word document.

    Type "information".

Either right-click on the word and select the thesaurus or, with the cursor on the word, hit Shift+F7 to bring up the thesaurus.

    Read the suggested synonyms.

In both Word 2003 and 2007, I get the following - which is not normal - but at least they're "in formation"!:

I get the same thing in Word 2003 and Word 2007.

    In Word 2010 I get
    thesaurus.jpg

In Word 2010 I get something very close to the earlier versions if I search for in formation.

    Thanks for the heads up.

I guess it only took them 7 years to fix it. At least I now know who to contact the next time I need "information"... ;-)

I get the "in formation" version with Word 2003, on a machine that never has had Word 2010 installed. I suspect that maybe installing the 2010 version cleans up the Synonym/Thesaurus function in 2003 as well.

With XP and Office 2003 I get in formation in turn in a row and several similar. Also, the document will not close without using Task Manager. Strange
