Windows Live Mail client 2009-tweak to make windows NOT open full screen?

I figure the way to force it to stop opening message windows fiull screen must be somewhere in the registry. Could someone who knows their way around in there better than I do see if they can find the setting?

Looked under HKEYCurrentUser but so far have not found it. If it is simply a matter of changing a number from 1 to 2 or something I'll copy the original key to the desktop before trying to make a change.

    Thank you!!

Kelliann (PS I have WLM 2009 on one Win7 computer, and 2011 on the other.)

Have you tried manually resizing the windows, then closing it, then closing the app?

Joe, yes, I have, repeatedly. It insists on being full size every time you open a mail. I looked around the registry after I could not find an option to make it stop that but I don't exactly know what I'm looking for and the registry is no place to guess <g>.

Sorry, I can't be of more help. I don't have WLM 2009 available and my WLM 2011 does not act that way.
