    Network Not Accessible

I have a Win 7 network with a desk machine wired to a Wireless Modem, and a laptop accessing it by wireless . It is a 'conventional network', rather than a 'Homegroup. It used to work fine! Now I can see both machines in Windows Explorer from the laptop, and read/write files on the desk machine from the laptop. but from the desk machine, the network is displayed but attempting to look at either of them results in a 'Network not accessible' message. I could accept the desk machine not being able to access the laptop if the laptop had not been shared, but it is very puzzling that the desk machine cannot even see itself

I've had this happen regularly as well. I can seeaccess my Ultimate laptop from wife's Home Premium laptop, but can't access her HP from my U;timate. I ran the network T/S various times on my setup, and eventually this problem corrects, but then returns, making a T/S necessary again. All of a sudden problem seems to have cleared itself???? Perhaps running the T/S will fix your problem as well.
