    Outlook 2010 Folder Assignments

I have my Outlook set up with one POP account, and the rest IMAP. If I draft an e-mail from one of my IMAP accounts, and save the draft, Outlook places it in the POP Drafts folder.

Is that standard, or is there some setting I'm missing?

I get that what it seems to be doing is saving to a local [POP] folder. But does that mean that IMAP accounts only utilize online Drafts folders when working directly online?

    Regards,
    Chuck Billow

You can only automatically save Drafts to one folder which is specified in Options | Mail | Save Settings.

I had seen and set that. It wasn't clear [to me] that that applied to ALL addresses -- as opposed to being, for instance, the "Drafts" folder in EACH address.

And then that one folder holds drafts [locally] for internet e-mail accounts as well?

I answered -- it seems -- my own question: I drafted a note online, and it saved in the online Drafts folder, but not locally. AND, there were items in the online Drafts folder that hadn't synced locally either.

Dos the Drafts folder not sync? I had thought that all folders did.
