    Arrow Outlook 2010 - Automatic Send/Receive Doesn't

Outlook 2010-Win7 Pro. "Send Immediately When Connected" IS NOT checked. "Schedule an automatic send/receive every 2 minutes" IS checked. Email in the Outbox is never sent. To get the email to send I have to activate Send/Receive All Folders (F9). Others in my office with same setup (scheduled send) have same results.
Maybe somebody will have to write some VB to get a properly working scheduled send. Thanks.

For best results, don't check for new mail more frequently than about 8 10 minutes. Checking too frequently (either automatically or manually) can cause Outlook to hang on the process and you will not be able to send or receive mail until you restart Outlook.
    Change Send and Receive Settings

Is 2 minutes much different from "Send Immediately When Connected", especially if you happen to click Send at 1 minute 59 seconds?

If the intention is to provide an opportunity to correct or recall a message, then you should use a rule with "Defer delivery by a number of minutes":

    Delay Sending a Message
