Menu bar in IE 9 not showing

    Hi,

I have the menu bar check to show in IE 9, but it is not showing. Also, I had tabs for Google and Yahoo yesterday, but this morning they have disappeared. How can I restore the menu bar and these tabs? Thank you.

If you use menu option View->Toolbars, don't they show?

How can you use a menu option when the menu is not there?

The menu bar can also be toggled on and off by pressing the Alt key.

But if Menu bar is really checked, after right-clicking above the address bar, then it should remain permanently.

Tabs are not permanent (after IE9 restart) unless you list their addresses at Tools, Internet Options, Home page (click Use Current there if the tabs are already displayed).

Thanks ruirib and Bruce. I evidently turned off one or more componentes under Internet Options that resulted in my not being able to get the Menu bar and the Yahoo and Google toolbars to display. I reset IE 9 back to default and then activated the three bars above. Everything is working fine now.

    Have a very Good one,
