JUnk Mail handling in Windows Junk Mail for WLM IMAP

If I get a whole series of e-mails, the junk mail processing works fine -- until it comes across a safe e-mail. Then it stops -- until I cursor to a new known spam and then it continues -- until reaching the next safe e-mail.

Is there some setting I need to set to have it just scan the Inbox folder without my having to monitor it?

RR, I don't understand. I install Hotmail, and it puts it on my desktop. But the Junk Mail filtering won't work unless I'm what -- logged in through Outlook AND logged in online?? So Windows Live mail's filtering doesn't work from the desktop?

'Cause right now it starts to filter, and thyen stops at a "good" mail, but then starts again when I move the selector bar. I'm missing something here...

    Chuck,
Why then did you put WLM in the header of your post. That's where you need to sign-in.

RR, I apologize...We're getting ready to move, and my mind is [obviously] less than focused. Let me start over:

I have WLM [most current ver] installed. When I'm using it [from the desktop, NOT on the web], the junk mail filters keep stopping any time it comes to something that is NOT junk mail.

I was mixing up WLM and Hotmail. My bad. Sorry...

Where I became confused / unclear is that what I am asking is: how do I get my JM filters to work via the desktop icon/App?
