    Exclamation Jumping cursor

Win7 (apparently) has a most annoying habit of jumping the cursor to the top, bottom or either side of pages. Being sight-impaired makes this a serious problem. I use a Logitech MX700 mouse. The problem occurs with or without using Logitech drivers.
Can anyone suggest a solution? Thanks in advance.

    Hi megabits,

    Welcome to the Lounge,

Is that a desktop computer or a laptop? Have you tried a different mouse?

If its a laptop you may have a problem with your palm of your hand touching the touch pad more often when using keyboard keys causing mouse to jump around. On some laptops you can disable the touch-pad when using a mouse or the keyboard which will stop this problem. If its a desktop then the problem will be something else and more information will be needed.

The MX700 is an optical mouse, try to use a different pad or surface for mouse. Or get a laser-mouse
