    Visual basic Help

I need help writing code in visual basic. I need to write a statement that will fill a masked edit control with today's date with a mask "##-##-###. I also need this effect each time the control has focus.

I'm a beginner and I'm hoping someone here maybe able to help me with this code.

    Thanks!

I realize this has been around for awhile, but I'd use a regular textbox and then fill it with the statement textbox = Format(Date, "mm/dd/yyyy". Date BTW returns the current date, it's not referring to a data type.

The same command will work with a masked edit box as well.

    Hope that helped. Ken
