Journals (Outlook 98/2000)

Can any one give me a lead as to how I can disable/hide the option to turn on journals. We have no need for these, and even though we install without the journal turned on users still go and click through the levels and turn on.
Is there a registry entry I can amend?

Set a quota on the mailbox size!
Then anyone who switches it on gets to find out why you're recommending turning it off.
You shouldn't really turn it off (should you?) in case someone really wants it as an audit trail, but a mail quota would impose a level of reality on what was happening.
Quotas were implemented at my company - I don't know anyone who uses Journal. Coincidence?

Thank you for your reply. We have mailbox quotas and it is usually the full mailbox that alerts us that the journals are turned on. With over 110 PC's on site there is always someone new who will 'explore' and turn on the "feature??!!", so I was hoping that there was a way that we could cripple the option as part of our standard settings.
I appreciate your answer and interest, thank you

There is a registry setting - found here at Windows200FAQ - but I am not sure if it could simply be reset by the user anyway.

Many thanks Lief, this is what I was looking for so we could standardise all our PC set-ups. All non MIS PC's do not have regedit available to the user so this will stop the problem repeating.
