That depends a certain extent on the Printer Driver supplied by the manufacturer. Although things may have changed I know in the past HP's lower line inkjets would not let you share the printer in your specified setup while the higher end ones did. It was all in the driver as the printer surely doesn't care! The best advice I can give you is to give it a try. Share the printer on the computer it is attached to via Devices & Printers. Then load the printer driver on the other machine and select network printer and see if it sees the printer.![]()
