MSCONFIG Startup - How to Modify

I am aware that I can disable any entry in the MSCONFIG startup so that it won't be run at statup.

But I would like to know how to delete or add an entry completely, especially delete.

Anyone know how I can do this?

    DG,

Try downloading Autoruns from Microsoft SysInternals. It does everything MSConfig does as far as Startup is concerned and much more including allowing you to delete an entry. However, AFAIK the only way to add an entry is to install a program or edit the registry.

Another easy to use app is What's In Startup by Nirsoft. I use both this and Autoruns but this is so easy. Check it out.

You can delete entries with Ccleaner using the Tools /startup button. You can add items via the Start button and put a shortcut to the program in the Startup folder.
