    Pass data 2 word (Access2000)

Is there anyway I could have access data as a data source for a document in word without having to merge the document? This data changes everyday so with a press of a button, I should be able to get to the up to date information. At the moment I

Well, I don't know if this will help, but as far as I'm able to tell, Word 2000 doesn't have the type of feature you're looking for. However, Excel does have that feature. Excel has a "Get External Data" option, under Tools, which you can setup to automatically refresh. Similar to the way you link worksheets together from different sources. Depending on how you setup your Word document, you may have to re-create it within Excel to do what you want.

The other option is to find a programmer who's versed in OLAP. You could use OLAP to make your connection to Word, but it would strictly be within VBA.

... another solution that may work is to copy the data from Access and Paste Link it in Word. The data will update each time the file is opened or re-freshed.

... After copying the data in Access, Open the word document you want the data to reside in, Place the cursor where you want the data to reside, Select Paste Special and then Select Paste Link. This will create a link to your Access database.

    Good Luck
