    HP 1907 monitor blacking out:o:

Hello! i have a hp 1907 monitor that my Gma had and it started blacking out. Some people said it was he V card it was not . Anyway I have it all torn down in pieces.. I am asking if I should replace th CCFL bulbs or just but a new monitor. I have everything apart and should I waste my time or not putting it back together. Throwing it away is a last resort and its a very good monitor.

The cost of fixing it (plus the time spent and still to spend) may not be worth it. Prices vary a lot, But used they are available on Amazon from $129. I'm not sure what the parts might cost you. You can get very nice flat screen monitors new for very reasonable prices now. My recommendation would be to look to replace the monitor.
