    Network.

    Hello.
I am trying to change the Network router's name, it got a funny default name on getting W-8 installed. Where can I go to change it to something more representative here, like "TP-Link" ? Now, when I go to Network, it is named "Local Area Connection 2", where is the 2 coming from ? Or am I looking at the wrong item ??? JP.

Forget about this, I found it. ;-)

Ted, thanks for trying. It is in : Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections, up left it says : Change adapter settings. Right click on the present name and : Rename.
Not important but aggravating slightly, after all I am the master here. Oh, yeah ?
