    Paragraph spacing (Word 2000)

    Hi again.

I have a friend with Word 2000 who is having a strange problem. His line spacing is fine but when he starts a new paragraph, the space between the 2 paragraphs is almost 4 inches. In Format > Paragraph, his spacing before and after are both set to 0 and he is using Single line spacing.

    Any brainy ideas out there?
    Thanks

Just a thought...is your friend using the normal or bodytext style.

Go to File > Page Setup: Layout tab, and see if Vertical alignment is set to Justified. If it is, change it to Top.
