    Hidden User Accounts

    Hello All,

I've just discovered that the old Hidden User Accounts registry hack no longer works in Win 8 CP.

FYI: I setting up standard networking {no Home Group } I always establish an account on each PC for each user in the network. Then used this registry hack to hide all the accounts from the logon screen except for the normal user of that machine. You could still get to the account via Ctrl+Alt+Del at the logon screen if necessary but the normal user didn't have to play around with picking an account just type in their password and if using AutoLogOn they didn't even have to do that. Although to be fair Win 8 CP remembers the last person to logon and only shows that picture unless you click the back arrow next to the user's tile. Of course that arrow is a big billboard that there are other user accounts on the machine. We've been upgraded again.

Seems like this is an easier way of doing it. Perhaps MS knew what we were doing and did it for us. Seems like a very reasonable alternative.
