The article on the iTwin uses the terms Primary, Remote and Local. I was OK until "local." Does "remote" become "local" or does "primary" become "local"?

Both the primary and any secondary PCs get both local and remote folders while half an iTwin is plugged into it. On both machines, the local folder contains pointers to files or folders on its own drive(s) and the remote folder contains pointers to files or folders on the other machine's drive(s).

So local on one is synched with remote on the other and vice versa. Local shows whats being shared to the other end, and remote shows whats being shared from the other end.

iTwin don't use the terms primary and secondary (or master and slave), because both halves are equal. But logically one has to be plugged in first before the other can be useful.
