The way recent dates are displayed
Hi fellow loungers,
At work we have a mix of Win XP and Win 7 machines.
On the XP PCs, when viewing a list of files in Explorer, files that have been created in the last week or so, show the day of the week in the date column. So a file that was created yesterday shows just that, eg "Yesterday 11:00am".
Whereas on the Win 7 PCs, this would show as "24/3/12 11:00am". (We're in Australia so use dd/mm/yy dates)
Can our Win 7 PCs be set to show this "day of the week" format too? We've hunted high and low in Control Panel's dates section but can't see anything that helps. We don't know if our Win XP machines were set to do this by someone who no longer works for us, or whether that's the default way of displaying dates in XP.

Probably not what you're looking for but there is a drop down icon to the right of the Date Modified header that will allow you to select a last week and/or earlier this week filter. You have to hover over the header to see the drop down icon.
