    Hiding Personal.xls (98)

    Woody's last newsletter has this:

"For example, WOWser KirkM had these sage words: 'Excellent
follow up to last week article on PasteUnformatted for
Word. Followed your instructions for Excel and it works
great. Only thing I think you forgot to mention is after
you Unhide the Personal.xls file to edit the macro, it's a
good idea to Hide it again, otherwise everytime you start
Excel it comes up in the Personal.xls worksheet which you
have to kill and then do a File|New to start a new
spreadsheet, which is kinda messy. Thanks!!'"

This may be a REALLY dumb question, but how does one "Hide" the personal.xls sheet? Right now, every time I open Excel I have to close this thing!! Sincere Thanks.

The next you have Personal.xls as the active workbook, go to Window menu and select Hide.
