    Automatic notification (2000)

    Hi,
We have a public folder with an Outlook calendar to show the appointments for five people. Only one person (the "administrator") can enter/edit appointments but the others would like to receive automatic notification when a new appointment is entered or an existing one is changed. Is there an easy way to do this, preferably without the administrator having to send the notification herself?

    Thanks for your help.

Look on the admin tab. right click, properties, administration, folder assistant. you might be able to send notification to the others using rules. i've never done it for calendar items, only posts, though.

Belated thanks. I'll give this a try.
