Windows 7 keep telling me I have updates for OFFICE 2003

But I don't have OFFICE 2003 I have OFFICE 2007, how can I stop the alerts?

Office 2007 sometimes needs updates that are also needed for 2003 (usually the same files / updates). So it offers both to ensure you get updated correctly so no need to worry.
If you really feel you don't want these updates then in the list of offered updates you can right click the update and choose hide update then you won't be offered them again.
As a note I only have office 2003 but get offered updates for 2007 as well but have never had any problems in installing all updates. (this is even stranger to get offered updates which office 2003 would not know exist)

@genefalk Did you, or someone else, install the Office 2003 Reader programs

@curiousclive Did you, or someone else, install the Office 2007 Reader programs

If you or someone else did, then that's why you're getting updates

The someone else may have been your hardware vendor - they love to install stuff you don't need.
