    Google Earth Desktop Plug-in.

Does anyone have any experience using the above topic? Does it require having 3D capabilities?

Any and all help will be appreciated.

Desktop and plug-in are two different things, but both work well and don't need any special hardware.

(Desktop is a local application and plug-in does the same stuff in a browser window.)

Thanks Bruce, I'm happy no additional hardware or software is needed to view Google Earth.
