Can't post in forum: why?

I navigated to the WLM Folders question in the Non Outlook Email Forum and then logged in. I tried to view various attached images, but was told I did not have permissions for this action, and that I should refresh the page and login. I did this 3 or 4 times, with the same result, despite the fact that at the top of the web page I was shown as logged in.

The same thing happened when I tried to post a reply to the thread.

What is going on?

Please advise.

Have you tried logging out and back in?

Is that the only forum which is exhibiting this behavior?

Hi Roy, It could be your using an old bookmark. Log out, clear cookies, log in, save new bookmark.

Hi Joe and Roderunner,I tried logging in from the new bookmark I saved, having previously logged in and out several times, but still have the same problem. I tried to reply to this thread on my computer but got the same permissions message, so I am sending this from my friend's computer.

Urgent help would be appreciated.

Have you tried deleting cookies & emptying your TIF?

Hi Joe and Roderunner, I tried yet again to view the images I referred to, and had no problem, and was able to post a reply. I have no idea why the problem occurred in the first place, or what resolved it with no intervention on my part, but all's well that ends well. (Famous last words)!

The problem returned and was very frustrating. I tried resetting internet options to the default level but that made no difference.Then, more in hope than expectation, when I logged in I checked "Remember Me" and lo and behold that worked, and I am now able to post again. I am keeping my fingers crossed and hoping the fix will prove to be permanent this time.
