I get the following error when attempting to close/save a note In Outlook 2000. The error message is "The messaging interface has returned an unknown error. If the problem persists, start Outlook again." This is followed with a message "The note will close and your changes will not be saved." This seems to occur when more than one Notes windows are open or when the Note is relatively large i.e. more that 10 or so lines. MSKB references similar messages but not ones occurring in Notes. I am running Windows 2000 and Office 2000 SP1. I have not applied SP 2 because of the included Outlook Security Update and attachment handling problems it produces. This error occurs on both my Pentium 3 500Mhz desktop and my Inspiron 7000. Any thoughts? This is real annoying because I lose all my changes to the notes. I left a similar message here months ago but I thought I would try again since I received no responses and I am still having the problem.
