I would like to know how to remove Meebo also. It appears to be some king of IE add-on; but it doesn't show up if you
"manage add-ons". In my case it appears on the bottom of sports pages on Boston.com

    Any help would be appreciated.

According to the search results from How to remove meebo toolbar popup you should be able to remove it using Add/Remove Programs (XP) or Uninstall a Program (Vista & Win7).

    Joe:
It doesn't show up in my W7 system under "uninstall a program.' Revo doesn't show it either.

Then in IE "manage add-ons" do you select "show all"?

It appears that at Boston.com that is part of the web site. You don't have a choice. All you can do is hide it.

Thanks Joe. That's what I've been doing; but I was hoping there was a way to get rid of it. I bet more sites are going to
meld this leech into their sites also.

    Thanks again,
    Dick
