Chrome install hijacked my F8 key - how to undo

    Hi,
When I installed Chrome on my Windows 7 64-bit machine, it hijacked the F8 key. Now hitting the F8 key, even in combination with other control keys, always starts Chrome. This includes when in programs such as Word and the Visual Basic programming interface. Uninstalling chrome did not fix the problem, don't see any settings to reset it either, or any mention in the help about Chrome using the F8 key.

So how can I undo this? I'm not using any special keyboard software.

    Thanks

There had to be something else going on. I installed Chrome on both Win 7 Ultimate and Win 8 CP without ANY problems with a hijack of the F8 key. I have never read of any problems like this as well.
