    Connected PC to TV via VGA and ...

    now when I attach ipod to computer I receive this message:

    Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)

    Not sure why usb device is not being recognized.

    Windows is as Windows does...the device is recognized on other computer


    Suggestions please

    Have a look through this and see if it is of any relevance to your issue:

    Hi Clint yep, I checked device manager and drivers are up-to-date then I googled that link and not sure if I want to delete from registry on this computer at this time. I recently deleted filters from registry on my Dell to fix problems with cd/dvd drive.

    I just tried a thumb drive which was recognized on all usb ports and I do have other modes for the charging device. Maybe rebooting a handful of times might help!!

    Or turn the computer completely off for a few min., then boot up.
    It looks like Windows might not have liked what you did with the output to TV[??]

    Yes Clint. Seems so. Just finished setting up Speech Recognition and tweaked a few other things that comp most likely didnt care for but, oh well, get over it! Right?
