Exchange 2007 Cache exchanged mode GAL not updating

Hi all,


Does anyone know what would cause the issue with GAL not updating when Outlook is on cached exchange mode? We use Exchange 2007 and Outlook 2003- Outlook 2010.

When in cached mode you need to use the off-line GAL. This is generated once a day by Exchange and downloaded by your machine.
Check the Exchange serve event logs for messages about the off-line GAL generation failing. This is common in an Exchange cluster.
