    Pay for help Legitmate or not?

    I am having problems with my fax line. The phone lines have been checked by the phone company, and they claim there is no problem. The fax has been checked out by my office store tech. They claim no problem.

    I contacted Brotherjustanswer.com They want $15.00 up front paid by my card. $15.00 is not a bad price, but I am nervous about handing out my card to an unknown entity.

    Are they legitimate? And if their answer is wrong, do they credit my card or am I just screwed?

    Legitimate = NOT

    Most companies you have checked tell you there is not a problem, but this ONE company tells you there may be a problem that they can diagnose for a fee.

    Are you having a problem with a legacy FAX machine (hardware problem)? Are you having a problem with multiple FAX enabled devices?

    Seriously, don't pay for services if you don't need them...

    The initial 15.00 fee is probably just a start and you may end up paying much more then that.

    I think that site has something to do with Brother printers...

    I don't think that I would be comfortable giving them my credit card. For this type of a situation, cash is best.

    Sounds like this company wants 15 dollars up front to look at it.
    Also, if they're not comming to your house or place of business to physically look at the printer/fax, don't do it.

    The closest I can find is brother .justanswer .com (spaces inserted for obvious reasons!) from this site

    http://www.serpanalytics.com/site/br...justanswer.com

    AVOID!
