Question Backups Home Premium to Professional

I'd like to back up my 2 laptops running W7 home premium to a tower running professional.
    - Do I need to upgrade all my machines to pro (since premium doesn't allow network backups)?
    - Are there other tricks I can use to make this work?

Use a 3rd party backup and imaging application that does allow networked backups.
You are not confined to just using the Windows built-in application for this.

Not only are the 3rd party apps more full featured, but they should not have the difficulties that I have read about with creating 2nd or 3rd or 4th Images and so on. I have read of many difficulties related to Win 7 Backups with subsequent Images. My Acronis True Image Home will make as many Images as I wish to make and have room to store.

    CLiNT,
The link takes me to my Google+ home page. I assumed you wanted it to go to a search results page.

    Ted,

Do you have Google+ as you home page? I just tried it again with the same results. I'm using FF by the way. So I just tried it in IE and it works! I wonder what I'm running in FF that causes this little annoyance?

No to Google+. Yes to IE. IE 10 right now with Win 8 CP. Do not have FF installed.

    Fiz,
Hello..I can recommend a 3rd party Imaging software that i have used many times (both Recovery and Backup) and It's Free Macrium Reflect Free Windows Imaging is both a "clumsy" and "clunky" program, and that even the free ones are much better in all aspects. Regards Fred
