    Desktop Icon settings

Like everyone else, I have numerous shortcut icons to web sites on my desktop. When I click on one of them, the window opens up "minimized" and I have to click on maximize to enlarge it. Not a big deal, just one of those annoying little things. When I right click on the icon and open properties, only a couple of them give me the option to "open maximized". Is there a setting I can change to cause all web sites to open maximized?

This is normally controlled by the last size of your browser.
    1. Maximise the browser, then close it.
    2. Double click a shortcut and the browser should come up maximised.

    Gmnaz,

For a shortcut you can adjust it's properties by right clicking it and selecting properties. Then use the dropdown to select Maximized.

To use Paul's method you need to hold the Ctrl key when you close the maximized window for windows to remember it.
