I am using V 1.13 276 on my Windows 7 64 bit. All appears good but there is a newer version out but I've read elsewhere some had problems etc.
Was wondering if upgrading is good plan, or just let sleeping dogs lie.

What version has been talked about as having problems? Do you have the same type of hardware as being described as causing the problem?
I occasionally use Speccy without any issues - version 1.15.309. Version 1.16.317 is available.

The latest 1.16.317 works fine for me on Windows 7 64-bit (as did all previous versions).
Bruce
I have version 1.16.317 in 64 Bit as well and have had no problems in Win 7 or Win 8 CP.

I read that it was the 1.16 version but I will download and install it.
Change of plan, decided not to stick with Speccy instead went back to SIW. For whatever reason Speccy hangs up on graphics analyzing.

If you have an Asus P8H67-M Pro motherboard, you may see board temperature being reported in the 190-200F range with the BIOS temperature reported in the normal range.
This is the best IMHO to use to monitor you computer. System Explorer must be run as administrator.
Hi NBB, I've used both SIW & System Explorer (portable versions) and SE gives more information.
I also use SIW. It shows a wealth of info. The biggest reason I use Speccy as well as I can publish my specs and use this info in my signature.
