    BING Desktop

This was an optional Windows Update today....
Anyone install it and if you did what do you think of it?

    Here's their description of it:

Bing Desktop is available for computers that are running Windows 7. Bing Desktop can be installed from the optional updates section in Windows Update. Bing Desktop provides an automatic update of the Windows Desktop background image to the Bing home page image each day. In addition, Bing Desktop offers an easy to access yet unobtrusive search box to streamline searching without opening the browser.

I hid the offer. Not even sure what it is, but did not want it.

I know it has something to do with making Bing your home page..
I'm not bothering with it but thought maybe others have gotten it.

It was not making Bing your homepage. It is to download and install a small application to make a Bing photo your wallpaper which changes daily and enable a search box on your desktop.

I ignored it as I don't want another application I won't really use installed and started when I boot my system.

    Yes Joe, you're right.
I remember reading that it would do that..I got a little confused..

I need that like I need a hole in my head...

I was curious if anyone tried it.
