Language detection in Netscape

I'm trying to create an Arabic enabled version of our company website. I can detect if Arabic is supported in IE by using the .UserLanguage property of the Navigator object. However if I try this using Netscape it returns 'null' no matter if the language is supported or not.

Does anybody know how to detect if the underlying operating system supports a specific language?

Any help would be most appreciated.

Thanks for the post Leif. Unfortunately the links on that site which look useful for me seem to be broken or have moved.

I guess I'll go back to my original idea and put the Arabic in as picture files.
