combining fields from two tables to make third

Hi all,

I am trying to combine two tables into one. I have some data in one table that I want to update to another table.

I semi-successfully created the Make Table query. Problem is, out of 235 records in the two tables, I only get 109 in the combined (make table) table. What can I possibly be doing incorrectly?

It's very hard to answer without knowing the starting tables and the code for the make table query.

I'm getting closer. I now get it to return more than half. I went into the Join Properties and played around.

Here is the sql. SELECT [Wamsutter Complete List].[Procedure Number], [Wamsutter Complete List].[Procedure Title], [Wamsutter Complete List].Determination, [Wamsutter Complete List].[Procedure Type], [Wamsutter Complete List].[Document Owner], [Master List].[Next Review Date] INTO [tbl_Combined with review dates]
FROM [Wamsutter Complete List] LEFT JOIN [Master List] ON [Wamsutter Complete List].[Procedure Title] = [Master List].[Document Name];

Is the join field correct? How many records in each of the tables?
