Word 2010 unable to copy/paste tables

Whenever I copy and paste a table, the table is pasted in unformatted text only, the entire table structure is replaced by tabs. http://windowssecrets.com/forums/ima...lies/frown.png My ADVANCED settings for CUT COPY PASTE are: * Pasting within documents: Keep source formatting * Pasting between documents: Keep source formatting * Pasting between documents when style defns conflict: Use destination styles * Pasting from other programs: Keep source formatting HELP PLEASE.

This doesn't sound like normal Word behaviour irrespective of the options you have set. I would suspect that an addin is running which hijacks the paste command to force this into a Paste Special as Text Only.

I have exactly the same problem. When I copy a table, or portion of a table, and then paste it, it always pastes as unformatted text. This is new behaviour in the past couple of days. I have no add-ins or macros, and I re-named Normal.dot.

Do you have Skype Click-to-Call installed? My understanding is that the company acknowledged the problem and issued an update. It affected Excel too:

Thank you! Installing the update didn't help, I had to uninstall both Skype Click-to-Call and Skype itself, but Word is working normally again. So happy!
