Confirmation from Outlook Users (OE 5.5)

The "confirmation" function (requesting confirmation that a message has been received) works perfectly well with correspondents using OE or other mail clients. With Outlook Users, however, it doesn't. They don't receive the request for confirmation. Has anyone else experienced this problem and is there a fix?

    TIA

outlook in corp mode automatically sends the confirmation (read receipt) without asking the sender - howere some mail servers are set to not return read receipts back to the internet.

    Thanks MaryJ!
I suppose this means I just have to live with it. <sigh>
Still, it's very strange that it works from Outlook to Outlook and from OE to OE and even from Outlook to OE but not from OE to Outlook.

I wasn't aware that Outlook was capable of sending 'Delivered' receipts. 'Read' receipts, yes - but they can be turned off.

mail servers do the delivered ones nd not all mail servers are enabled for it. using any kind of receipt is really a hit or miss operation that can't be relied on. Even Read and Not Read receipts can be faked in outlook.
