    If function help

    I have percentages in Col's U & T

    I would like to set up a logical formula that the % in Col T >= 75, "PD", "P". However, if the % in CCol U <40, "Fail"

    Your assistance in this regard is most appreciated

    Do you want the result in the cell to be "PD" if the value in the T column is >= 75 and if not, a "P"?

    =IF(T1>=75,"PD","P") and fill this down.

    Or do you want to set the cell to "Fail" if U is <40, otherwise do the test on the T column?

    =IF(U1<40,"Fail",IF(T1>=75,"PD","P")) and fill down.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks for the help, much appreciated. The formula =IF(U1<40,"Fail",IF(T1>=75,"PD","P")), does the trick
