    Slow to swap printers

got 2 PCs running 95a. Linked peer to peer on thin ethernet each has its own printer which is shared. Everything works but swapping printers is painfully slow either to the remote printer or back to the local - by slow I mean 5-10 minutes at times.
Was ok when first set up sharing but has just got slower and slower.
Plenty free space, deleted temps, reinstalled printers, checked for background progs - no change.
Any clues on what to try next?

    thanks all

    Re: Slow to swap printers

First thing I would do is check my connection reliability, is there any electrical interference from point A to B to C? You might try running your system tools as well, defrag, etc. Or, re-install the drivers.

I know it takes some time to switch printers on a large network, but you shouldn't have any problems with your little setup.. let me know how it goes!

    Hope this helps!
    Drk.
