    Saved Searches

I just discovered a folder named Searches in Windowss Explorer. The folder contains 2 folders, one named 'Everywhere" which contains 24,296 items. The other named 'Indexed Locations' which contains 23,573 items. I tried to use Selecte All then Delete, but delete is grayed out.

How can I rid my computer of all those searches and prevent more from being save?

During a Google search I discovered that Windows 7 automatically saves searches.

Please help me, I will apprecaite all help.

Are these operating system search queries via the start menu's Windows search function?

CCleaner should remove these search queries.
Privacy Mantra will remove them completly with a reboot.

I have CCleaner, where should I look for the place to remove the search articles. I recently installed the cleaner and am not familiar with all of it's cleaning options. I'm half afraid to use it for fear of removing the wrong things.

To answer your question, yes that's the place I found Search.
