URL Links - 32 vs 64 Bit Internet Explorer

I use the 64 bit version of Internet Explorer.

I have some url links that need to run using the 32 bit version of Internet Explorer because the ActiveX plugins for these links do not work in the 64 bit version of IE9.

If I don't have IE9 open then these links open using 32 bit IE9.

If I have the 64 bit IE9 open, then these links open a tab in the 64 bit version.

Is there any way to have the links open an instance of 32 bit IE9 when the 64 bit IE9 is already open?

Create shortcuts (which can be placed in your Favorites folder or bar) with a target "C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" example.com/wherever

I'm curious about which ActiveX plugins are still not available for 64-bit. I know there are some, but I thought most common add-ons could now be installed in 64-bit.

Thanks, Bruce. That did the trick after appending the URL after the target.

I have a Synology NAS which come with some software, including Surveillance Station which monitors the cameras in my home security system. The software runs on the NAS so my PC doesn't need to be on. If I want to administer the cameras, there's an applet that loads with the webpage but doesn't work under 64 bit IE9.
