    Lightbulb Collapsing Ribbon

In case you are not aware...

In W8 Windows Explorer windows to have a larger viewing area, the Ribbon can be collapsed if & when or while not needed... & just 'reopened' as needed or wanted. The Ribbon can be but, does not need to be kept showing all the time. This change can be affect via the wee arrow to the left of the HELP question mark @ the top-right corner of the Windows Explorer windows.

    Cheers,
    Drew

    Drew, hello.

I have that blasted ribbon out of the way permanently. I could not find much use for it. Different, I am.

I deleted all the rest here, I had IE 10 in mind and after re-reading your post, it is about Windows Explorer that you wrote this. OK ! I am going over to it just for fun.

After a voyage into Explorer, I am back to say, yes, it works that way. Funny to say but I never use Win.Exp. I know my way around. JP.

All I was trying to say was the Ribbon Technology, introduced in Office 2007, is now, also, w/ Win8, in all screens, pages, windows, whatever term, when looking @ internal Hard Drive items. And that Folks may not have know the Ribbon (there) can be collapsed; same as in Office windows or Outlook. Sorry, if the term Windows Explorer threw anyone off.

No, not a reference to anything in a browser.

    Cheers,
    Drew
