Equation editor and Windows XP (Office 97)

I have just bought a Compaq laptop with Windows XP preinstalled, and I put my Office 97 program on it. For the most part it works fine, but whenever I run Equation Editor, it tells me that some fonts didn't install correctly, and to uninstall and reinstall Equation Editor to fix this problem. But when I follow those instructions, some fonts still aren't installed. I believe they are the MT Extra fonts, the ones that let me put overbars, etc., on variables. Anyone else have this problem and know what to do about it?

Oops. Turns out that I didn't have the font installed after all. Went out to Mathtype, found the fonts, installed them, and problems solved. Sorry for cluttering up bandwidth.
