    Temporary IE Files

Just curious as to why I end up with sooo many when I visit here? I was here just a bit ago, not logged in, just looking for approx. 15 mins., then checked TIF & found an additional 132 items added to the 2 that I started with. Earlier this morn., I'd spent a good couple hours at another (often referred to) site & only had 1 or 2 items in TIF.

We may have more ads to support this site than the "Often referred to" site. It's a guess, and it's as good as any.

I don't worry about those TIF anyway because I have set my browser to delete them upon closing. This is one way I clean up my PC and keep it clean. I have set the IE browser to Preserve Favorite Websites Data, but otherwise clean out everything. I also use CCleaner and Privacy Mantra regularly (once every couple days) to clean things further. This way my TIF does not get a chance to build up. I have history set to the shortest setting since I have a fast internet connection, I do not feel I need to load an old web page to speed up my browsing.

It also might be that the iNet site here has more TIF images associated with it's site as opposed to another you have also visited. Different website hosts will more than likely have differing effects when it comes to what you see stored in the browser cache.

It does appear many of the displayed items are images.

Thanks. I was more curious than concerned other than the doubleclick stuff, don't care for that.
