Date problem

I am trying to create a simple bar chart of 3 days Thursday, Friday, Saturday,Sunday in column 1 Date 17 May:27 May column 2 and data column 3
The bar chart is showing the dates as 15 March 2023, 06 July 2009, 28 October 1954 and 7 other dates back to 1900
Where are the crazy dated coming from Time and Date on the computer is correct
