qaz, to upload an image, do the following.

    1. Click the button shown in Ted Myers screenshot
    2. You'll see the following uploader appear.

    ws_uploader.png

If URL is selected, click the left hand tab and then click the "Select Files" button at the bottom. This will take you to "My Documents" by default. If you saved the snapshot somewhere else like I have, navigate to that folder and then click the name of the file and click "Save" as show here:

    ws_uploader_save.png

This will take you back to the original box. Now click the button at the bottom which says "Upload files".

    ws_uploader_upload_files.png

You should now be able to see the image you uploaded in your next post.

If you cannot upload it in PNG format, do the following.

    1. Take your screenshot with MWSnap in the normal way as described earlier.
    2. Then click File, Save As and change .PNG to .JPG as shown in the screenshot.

    save_as_jpg.PNG

You can use Diskpart.exe to extend your F: drive into the unallocated space. See: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/325590

Are you talking about the 6.4 GB of unallocated space. Is so, the F Drive can be expanded (resized) to include this space. Unallocated space just means this space has been deleted and is presently not being used. Simply resize the F Drive to include this unallocated space.

As I said previously I prefer the 3rd party app to do this, especially with XP. I do not trust Windows partitioning to do this properly.

On another note you may want to rename your partitions to make them easier to identify. Here are mine:

    DislManager.jpg

The same thing in Partition Wizard. Notice how much easier it is to resize the partitions.

    PartitionWizard.jpg

Just highlight the F Drive, choose Resize, then grab the right side and drag it to the right.

    qaz,

You said of the Imaging software "it makes a capsule". I Know that with "Acronis True Image Home" you can make a "Secure Zone". That is a hidden partition that will only let you access it through Acronis .. to place your "Images"in. It would be helpful if you told us what it is that you are using ( What type\ make of HD).If this "Capsule" is like a "Secure Zone" created by whatever program the HD has ...why do you want to remove it?...Suggest that you have a read through your HD's manual ...Partitions can not create themselves .. either you have done this or the HD's software . qaz,
Hello... HD manufacturer's (USB type) that have "software" pre installed to set up a "Secure zone" or "capsule" as you have stated, have manuals on how they operate ...either as part of the program or on their web site "Help". I guess that i have know idea of what your trying to do, or what exactly you have as far as a HD.... Sorry...I'm out Regards Fred

Or you can just save your data on a flash disk or an external and format it, it will be better for your computer
